Concept
The design for Via Physio, draws inspiration from the human body itself—specifically the flow, curvature, and layering of muscle and skin. The architectural concept explores form as a continuous, sculpted surface, echoing the dynamic tension and softness found in the muscular system.
Gently curved walls, softened edges, and fluid transitions between surfaces shape the space, creating an organic flow that guides both movement and perception. Accents of color and light shading are used strategically bringing depth and subtle contrast to the otherwise calm, neutral palette.
The atmosphere is deliberately soothing and welcoming, designed to support healing, relaxation, and trust. Material choices favor tactile surfaces and muted tones, while the spatial rhythm follows a gentle, natural cadence, offering both openness and quiet intimacy

Colour & Texture
The project explores how colour can shape space by layering tonalities that create depth and dimension. Just as human skin reveals subtle variations that define it’s living qualities, here surfaces are articulated through gradients of colour and shifts in texture. Depth is achieved not by form alone, but through a calibrated material and chromatic language that guides the perception and movement of the patients.
Lighting
Light and shadow are conceived as complementary to color and texture, revealing the grain of surfaces and emphasizing the geometry of space. Carefully directed illumination accentuates forms, while subtle shadows add depth and rhythm. At the same time, the project prioritizes high-quality lighting to ensure a natural and accurate rendering of patients’ bodies. This balance allows the environment to remain both clinically precise and atmospherically refined to enhance the comfort of doctors and patients alike.
