Healthcare interior, private practice
Concept
The YEARS project was to create a medical space that redefines the patient experience by merging functionality with spatial quality, emotional comfort, and a sense of belonging. Beyond its medical purpose, the project explores how architecture can support preventive healthcare through materiality, atmosphere, and flexibility.
Internally, the space is organized to accommodate users who spend extended periods within the practice. A mix of lounge and focused work zones allows patients to transition naturally between rest, examination, and productivity. The use of warm, muted tones and high-quality tactile materials contributes to a setting that feels closer to a boutique hotel than a clinical environment.
Conceptually, YEARS proposes a new typology — one that brings together the calm of a wellness space, the clarity of a medical clinic, and the informality of a place to simply be. The result is a holistic environment that treats time and care as essential parts of the medical experience.
